Re-Cap: Crystal Mountain Meet-up
Posted on December 20, 2011 | 8 CommentsFortunately, Mother Nature is only like 50% of a vacation's success. Although terrain was limited, the conditions were very good. Much props to Crystal's snowmaking crew and their groomers for keeping the slopes in excellent shape. -

BC Interior: Red Mountain, Summing it All Up

Whistler, BC
Posted on July 22, 2010 | No CommentsWhistler BC is one of those places that everyone wants to ride one day. This mountain is bigger than anything I've seen. Whistler and Blackcomb peaks are 4900 and 5100 vertical feet (~1500m), so easily twice the height of most Ice Coast resorts, and much more expansive, too. -
Dirty Thirty
Posted on June 4, 2010 | 1 CommentToday I turn 30, which means that I am now endowed with "old man strength". You know, they type of strength that your dad had, which made it possible for him to be able to whip your ass even though he had a tremendous beer gut and smoked two packs a day and hadn't done anything productive in more than a decade? Yeah. That "old man strength".
