  • Earlier this week at Mt. Holly the gapers were out in force. We saw this crew who had barely made it out of the lodge before four or five of them had fallen over in that awkward twist-your-legs-sideways sort of way that only n00b skiers can do.

  • The front discs were easy. The drums are a lot more difficult/complicated to work on because there's a million little springs and such that need to be put back together properly. Putting it back together was trick and took a few tries, but that wasn't our biggest problem.

  • PARTY TIP: you should probably have a spare deck on hand, in case you break your skateboard in half. Last time I went out for a skate I noticed a small spot beginning to delam, the product of repeated fails as the board went wrong-way into the business end of a concrete parking block (does a parking block have another end?). This happened the other night just as I had started out for the evening. I didn't get maybe 10 minutes in and I heard the telltale snap.
