Riding Switch on a Directional Snowboard
Posted on September 22, 2010 | 2 CommentsRiding switch on a directional board is going to feel a little different,but this has less to do with the shape of the board and more to do with the fact that you're probably not very good at riding switch. A twin shaped board is going to help because it's symmetric, but it's not going to do the work for you. You still need to know how to ride switch. -

How to Hit Rails and Boxes on a Snowboard

So start with those kiddie-sized 24" wide butter-boxes just to get your timing down. Once you're comfortable ollying on to the box and riding it, you can progress to the narrower boxes, and finally to legit "rails". -
