Niche Knew Snowboard Review
Posted on May 15, 2012 | 3 CommentsNiche Snowboards is one of the new kids on the block in the snowboard industry. Based in SLC, Utah and manufactured in Austria they've got a full line of eco-friendly snowboards. The Knew is one of their freestyle-oriented boards and I took it out for some hot hot hot closing day laps. -
2013 Salomon Mans Board Snowboard Review
Posted on May 8, 2012 | No CommentsThe Salomon's Man's Board is Bode Merrill's weapon of choice for high speed all mountain ripping, the topsheet still has that beer-inspired graphic, adorned with blondes, brunettes, and redheads depending on size. Posted on March 26, 2012 | No CommentsWith no snow in sight Jon and I went to check out the Misfit Lab in Fenton on Sunday afternoon. It was the first time I had been there since Leo and I toured the facility when it was still under construction. Here's a rundown of what's inside the Lab and what you can expect if you go there. -
2013 Arbor Blacklist Snowboard Review
Posted on March 16, 2012 | 6 CommentsI've been hearing a lot about Arbor snowboards lately and although they've always appealed to me aesthetically with a lot of sexy woodgrain topsheets, I've never had a chance to ride one. This year at Test Fest I finally got a chance and started out with the Blacklist, a midwide true twin park-flexing all-mountain do-it-all board. -
Closing Day – Pine Knob, March 10, 2012
Posted on March 11, 2012 | 2 CommentsClosing days around here have a tendency to not happen at all, or to be awful, but a reprieve in the warm spell gave us two very cold overnights and...
