BC Interior: Red Mountain, Summing it All Up
Posted on October 11, 2010 | No CommentsAfter leaving Revy, chasing a storm down to Nelson and Whitewater, we made our last stop in Rossland, furthest southern resort before you hit the border. Red Mountain is unlike any other mountain I've ever ridden. -

Posted on October 3, 2010 | No CommentsAfter a few nights in Revy, we reluctantly left during a snowstorm and spent the better part of a day driving south to Whitewater Resort outside of Nelson. In that time, and then overnight, more than 60 cms of fresh snow piled up on the mountains. It was insanity. -

Posted on September 30, 2010 | 1 CommentIt hadn't snowed in 10 days and the mountains had seen a wicked thaw-freeze. Didn't matter though. We could tell by the terrain and the snow that had been there that it was worth another visit. A year later we would have our revenge on the BC Interior. -

Posted on December 21, 2009 | No CommentsWe couldn't have asked for a better day in northern Michigan: no wind, partly sunny, and temps about 30 degrees. No powder in sight, but the blend of last week's fresh and man-made snow was extremely tolerable for early-season riding. -
Jackson Hole – Snow King Resort
Posted on December 14, 2009 | No CommentsThe primary reason we chose Jackson Hole over other destinations: At 4,100 vertical feet, and some of the steepest steeps in the world, Jackson Hole kicks ass. I would recommend the Snow King Resort, and I'd return there. They have hotel-style rooms as well as 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom condominiums on-site. It's affordable, close to the airport, and you don't need to rent a car. -
