  • For a few years now the Shell Gasoline "Ski Free Deals" has been my go-to for discount lift tickets here in Michigan. Now that the holiday/school vacation season is over, the program has started back up again and there are 21 participating ski areas (alpine and cross country) in Michigan alone.

  • On Saturday Leo & I made the trek out to Fenton, Michigan, to check on the progress at Misfit Lab Skate & Snowboard Park. We spent about an hour or so touring the place and chatting it up with Shaun, the owner, getting the inside scoop on what's in store for the snowboard park and taking a few pictures to show off what they've already accomplished.
