It’s that time of year when small resorts stop spinning the bullwheels down state and the resorts up north are throwing their year end parties as the snow they have dwindles by the day. Then there’s Hawk Island Snowpark who’s all “Fuck that, let’s blow snow.”

If you haven’t been up to Hawk Island yet, get up there! If you’re a park rider of any skill level, they got something for you and it’s definitely one of the better progression terrain parks in the state of Michigan.
No word on their closing date yet but it can’t be too far off, and since there’s a decent chance your local hill is closed already, or closing this weekend, why don’t you make some plans to check it out.
