Huge Sale at SierraSnowboards.com

Just caught wind of a huuuuuge sale at SierraSnowboards.com. It’s still going on so you can take advantage of it, but I don’t know how long these boards are going to last. They are blowing out previous years’ inventories of snowboards & gear at 70% off.

The prices can’t be beat but sizes are limited. This means for men’s boards the sizes are mostly less than 155, for women’s boards they’re mostly over 150 but you can still find some that might fit you. Head on over and check it out!

Since I’ve been searching for a park board, after asking around on twitter I decided to gamble on the advice of @snwbdrhoon, and I bought a Burton X8 factory second with full warranty and all, size 157cm (pictured at right). I should get it later this week and I’ll review as soon as possible. This is the 2009 Burton X8 so it doesn’t have the new v-rocker tech, but it’s still a $600 brand-f*cking-new snowboard that I got for under two bills, shipped.

If it works out nice, then I’ll have a new snowboard to play with on park days. If not, I’ll be selling a gently-used Burton X8 some time in the near future, for about $200 shipped.
