All summer long everyone has been sitting around their living rooms in air-conditioning watching 3-minute teasers for this year’s productions dropping mostly in the fall, and although it helps get you through the warmer months, you know nothing is better than the real thing and you want to touch it. Well the 2010-2011 gear is already hitting shops around the country, my shop already got a shipment of Burton goods, and others are coming soon.
Until you can actually touch this year’s boards, here’s the next best thing:
Burton launched new website for 2010-2011 although they’ve got the same crappy boardfinder app which makes 6-feet tall, 200 pounds look like Chris effing Farley in snowpants. Thanks guys.
Capita has all their 2010-2011 boards ready to be devoured, including the nothing-says-i-love-you-like-a-giant-skull 10-year anniversary model of the Black Snowboard of Death (pictured) which is finally available in alt-camber. I kinda wanted one of these, so that’s awesome. Also, hands down the scariest snowboarding website. Someone was smoking some good stuff and listening to Tool when they designed it, but I like it.
Ride Snowboards‘ website isn’t redesigned, but I liked the way it worked last year anyways. Now updated with all the 2010-2011 gear.
Bataleon, of Triple-Base-Technology fame, is showing off their 2010-2011 lineup.
K2 Snowboards also has the fresh.
Never Summer, Lib-Tech, and Gnu and haven’t updated yet, and Arbor’s lineup is “coming soon” but preview available on their site. I still think the A-Frame is one of the sweetest looking snowboards around.
