Beer, bros and bonks in a low-key pre-season atmosphere (the event kicked off at noon and Holly didn’t open until 3pm so technically this was still a “pre-season” event).

A couple hours of jamming out on the two or three features they had set up meant that the landings were bombed out the size of Michigan pot-holes by the time I made it to opening day around 4pm, I stayed away from what was left of the “park” and just rode a little groomage; had the slopes been open earlier I would’ve headed up to check out the pre-jib but couldn’t get away to spend all day spectating and all night riding. Maybe next year…
