Severe Weather Alert: Deathstorm 2011 Preview

Send film crews to Detroit! Or St. Louis. Or Chicago. Or anywhere else between Oklahoma City and Maine.

The Weather Channel is calling for “A 2,100 mile long swath from the Southern Plains to coastal New England” which should see a foot or more of snow between now and Wednesday, coming in several cycles beginning tonight.

In parts of Southern Michigan, forecasts are now calling for up to 15″ of snow (that’s like 35cm for you ‘Nucks in the audience) between Tuesday and Wednesday. I will be updating periodically and broadcasting somewhat live-ish on teh twitter (@agnarchy) from Deathstorm Detroit from now until the snowpocalypse.

Seriously though. If you’re a film crew and you want a tour guide, shoot me an e-mail & we’ll make it happen.

We’re scheduled to ride Wednesday evening but if we get that much snow it may turn in to an an all-day affair.

With upwards of a foot of snow and colder temps in the forecast the goods should still be around this weekend maybe for an urban assault or a backyard jam session.
