Shredding on the RIDE Machete (video)

A few seconds of video that I put together from the other night when I took the RIDE Machete out for her maiden voyage. Footage is sparse because it’s a brand new board, and I wasn’t feeling particularly ballsy on the ice that night. Also, there were only two of us and I feel like a douchebag being all like, “Hey, can you just sit over near that park jump all night and not have any fun but take videos of me all night instead?” If there were a few of us, it would be a different story. As long as we’re not jamming all day sessions inthe park with a dozen cameras, getting good footage plays second fiddle to having fun and shralping the gnar.

Some of the riders on Snowboardingforum.com are local to S/E Michigan and we’re trying to round up the troops and get a bunch of people out to one of those glorified gravel pits that we call “ski resorts” to do a park session and throw a bunch of video together for a bunch of riders. I say: everyone bring your camera and/or camcorder. Let’s get as much footage as we possible can, give it all to SMDSkata and have him rock it all out for us. Because you’ve seen my videos: this is about as good as they get.

Hopefully we’ve got another six weeks left in the Michigan shred season, which gives us plenty of time to hook up and put together some better clips.
