Why Can’t I Pick Up Girls When I’m Snowboarding?
If you’re asking why you can’t pick up chicks when you go on vacation to some awesome resort somewhere, the answer is remarkably simple. Girls don’t go on snowboarding/skiing vacations like guys do. Seriously. Go to a bar in any resort town and the ratio of dudes to bettys is like 8-to-1. Check out this picture from one of the bars in Park City.
Your eyes are not deceiving you. The dance floor at this bar was devoid of any human life except for this one girl rocking out by herself. She was pretty much the only girl in the bar.
If you’re talking about your average day at the park, there are a two things to consider:
Not a lot of girls ride park. Sure, there might be some bunnies there hanging out in their matching threads and fur-trimmed hoodies, but they’re not usually there to lay down butters on the battleship rail. Just saying. And these gawkers are usually there because they’re with one of the guys who is shredding that battleship rail. And if there are single gals in the park, chances are they’re in the park because they want to shred the park, not because they’re looking for dudes like they’re at the mall on a Sunday afternoon.
Or, it could be that your style sucks.

I’m not sure how I feel about this post…how can I spend SO MUCH time at the slopes and still be single!! Guess I will be heading to Park City for my next vaca!
Actually, I meet a lot of cool guys at the slopes; however, most of them are married! At this point I tend to assume that the guy on the chairlift next to me is probably in a relationship, so if your a free bird make sure you let that cute chica know!

Truth is Kristi, there were 6 of us in PC and we were all married or otherwise attached… But every bar there was full of guys; odds are some of them were single
